About me

My Approach to Care

Collaborative, individualized care grounded in your symptoms, goals, values, and daily life.

About me

My Approach to Care

I believe meaningful care begins with feeling understood. My approach is collaborative and individualized, with attention to your symptoms, goals, values, and the realities of your daily life.

A more personalized approach to mental health care

My path into healthcare has always been shaped by curiosity about the connection between the mind and body. I was drawn to psychiatry because mental health is never just one thing. It is influenced by sleep, stress, hormones, medical history, relationships, routines, and the way someone is able to function in everyday life.

That perspective is what led me to integrative psychiatric care. Medication can be an incredibly helpful part of treatment, but it works best when care also considers the whole person. My goal is to create care that is thoughtful, evidence-based, practical, and tailored to what each person actually needs.

What It’s Like to Work Together

Care is tailored to you and your needs. Some people are looking primarily for medication management, while others want to explore non-medication or holistic strategies. Many people benefit from a thoughtful combination of both. We will focus on what feels appropriate, realistic, and aligned with your goals.I do not believe care should feel rushed, dismissive, or one-size-fits-all. Together, we will look at your symptoms, history, current stressors, lifestyle, strengths, and goals to better understand what is contributing to how you feel.My hope is that treatment feels thoughtful, realistic, and useful beyond the appointment itself. Whether we are discussing medication, coping strategies, routines, or changes in daily functioning, the goal is to build a plan that supports meaningful and sustainable improvement.
